Meet the Doctor

Dr. Bostick

Dr. Britt Bostick formed Abbeville Dentistry after graduating from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1988. He graduated from Texas Tech University in 1984 with a B.S. in Zoology and Chemistry. Dr. Bostick has studied numerous post graduate topics such as the latest in cosmetic techniques, advanced restorative procedures and numerous other techniques to make dental appointments faster and more comfortable for his patients.

Dr. Bostick is a member of the South Plains District Dental Society, Texas Dental Association, American Dental Association, and is a member at Experience Life Church. He is happily married to his wife Patti and has four wonderful children (Brad, Maegan, Mandi, and Matt).

Dr. Khater

Dr. Mayada Khater joined Abbeville Dentistry in 1998 after graduating from University of Texas Dental School in Houston. Raised in Lubbock, she graduated from Texas Tech University in 1993 with a B.S. in Cell and Molecular Biology and Chemistry. Dr. Khater also keeps up to date on the latest research and technology by attending continuing education courses. She is a member of the Seattle Study Club and the American Dental Association. Dr. Khater has extensive experience with cosmetic procedures and is Invisalign certified (the invisible way to straighten your teeth without braces). She enjoys performing smile makeovers and seeing the impact it can make in her patients lives. Dr. Khater also attended denture courses given by Dr. Joe Massad. Dr. Khater is married, and has three children.

Dr. Kharrat

Dr. Lena Shoukfeh Kharrat was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas. She graduated from Lubbock High School in 1996. She then graduated from Texas Tech University in 1999 with a B.S. in Cell & Molecular Biology and Chemistry, with Honors. Dr. Kharrat graduated from New York University College of Dentistry (NYUCD) in 2004, and joined Abbeville Dentistry in 2005.

Dr. Kharrat has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and restoring worn-down teeth. She keeps up to date by attending the latest CE courses. She is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, and Seattle Study Club. Dr. Kharrat is married and has two sons. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, reading, jogging, and playing classical guitar.

Dr. Wilkins

Dr. David Wilkins joined Abbeville Dentistry in January 2010 after working in private practice in Georgia and California. A 1985 graduate of the medical college of Georgia School of Dentistry, Dr. Wilkins brings his years of experience to Abbeville and enjoys treating patients of ages 2 to 102. He is a U.S. army Veteran and enjoys spending time with his wife Thea and their Belgian Sheepdogs which they train for AKC events in agility, obedience, herding and conformation.

Dr. Stephenson

Dr. Matthew Stephenson joined Abbeville in 2010. He is a graduate of Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska. Dr. Stephenson is a father of four and has been married for almost 10 years to a woman much too good for him. He grew up in Utah where he did his undergraduate studies at Utah Valley University. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry, especially getting to know his patients and being able to constantly learn more.

Dr. Lewis

Dr. Mike Lewis was born and raised in Houston, Texas. After high school he joined the United States Marine Corps. He was honorably discharged in 1969. While in the Marines, he received a meritorious mast and was chosen Marine of the Month in August 1967 while stationed at the Marine Corp Air Station in Beaufort, South Carolina. He went on to attend the University of Houston school of Pharmacy. He received his D.D.S degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 1978. He has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and problems of worn occlusion. In 1982 he was published in the dental newsletter Cosmetic Dentistry through Bonding. He enjoys cooking, reading, football, and hiking.

Dr. Peterson

Dr. Justin Peterson came to Abbeville in 2012 after leaving his home state of Idaho where he practiced with his father. After high school, he served an LDS mission in Brazil for two years. He went on to attend undergraduate school at Brigham Young University - Idaho where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and a Minor in Chemistry. Dr. Peterson graduated from Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska in 2010. Now settled in Lubbock, Dr. Peterson enjoys biking, playing the piano, and spending time with his wife (Kim) and three children (Ava, Eli, and Owen).
